About Denny Paul
My name is Denny Paul Platania.
I specialize in band and portrait photography. When photographing portraits, I use natural settings and lighting to bring out one's inner beauty, focusing my attention to the eyes. As Shakespeare wrote: "the eyes are the windows to the soul." Capturing the life and soul in one's eyes is what I strive to achieve.
As a bass guitarist in the band circuit for many years, I know what photography can do to advance one's music and career. I work closely with musicians to obtain the photographs that promote their image or band and help them reach their musical goals.
I am originally from Queens, NY. After serving four years in the United States Air Force, I settled near Baltimore, MD, where I currently reside.
